Brandon Robbins is an award-winning singer, pianist, trumpeter, guitarist, drummer and songwriter who has served Central Iowa and beyond in music for nearly a decade.
Brandon has played music regularly at churches and Christian events. He has played in multiple Christian bands and worship teams. Although, he does not limit himself specifically to one genre of music. He delights in playing and writing in many musical styles and has played in rock bands, symphonic bands, a jazz band, and sang in a small vocal chamber ensemble and multiple large choral groups. These groups presented abundant opportunities to perform in many different places, such as New York and St. Louis, and other recognizable locations such as Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines, Iowa, as well as C.Y. Stephens Auditorium and the Martha Ellen Tye Recital Hall (Iowa State University Campus) both in Ames, Iowa.
Brandon also performs solo, with these solo appearances ranging from piano performances, to voice performances, to piano AND voice performances, to trumpet solos and beyond. He has performed solo at prestigious places including the Iowa Governor’s Mansion and the Knoll, also known as the Mansion of the President of Iowa State University.
In 2007 he recorded a CD of some of his earliest original piano compositions, entitled “Songs of Inspiration”, which has had copies distributed in Iowa, as well as Nebraska, Missouri, Kansas and Texas. Brandon has performed in many of these same states.
Not only does Brandon write and compose, but he teaches as well. He has given private music lessons to numerous students. He is intent on positively impacting the lives of others and uses music lessons as a means of impacting others with this powerful and potentially life changing gift.
